Chapter 1.4 - Birthday Spam

Hello again!

Sorry for the delay! I've been busy with overtime at work and all that jazz.

I'll try and be more reliable with these updates!

Before I get into the meat and potatoes of the chapter, let me first get you up to date with Riley's promotions. Because the man is climbing up the Criminal ladder faster than I expected.

He's been a thug;

A getaway driver;

And a Bagman.

So he's doing pretty well for himself!

Last chapter, Clara aged up into the child, and Alexa welcomed her two new daughters: Sophie and Victoria.

Sophie proved herself to be an absolutely adorable toddler.

Here she is, playing with her blocktable in front of her baby sister.

Clara, meanwhile, developed a love for painting.

So much so that she rolled it as her Lifetime Wish.

And Riley netted himself another promotion.

Fresh off of his new promotion, Riley tended to his newborn daughter.

Riley: You are so small...

It reminded him of when Clara was left on his doorstep as a newborn, and how he raised her on his own before moving to Sunset Valley.

He loves his kids, okay?

It's a good job, because there are now two toddlers in the same house.

She's so cute!

One thing I have noticed about the Sophie and Victoria is that they have the opposite hair and eye colour. Sophie has Alexa's haircolour and Riley's eye colour, whilst Victoria has Riley's blonde hair and Alexa's grey eyes.

It's a lot more noticeable when they get older.

Good job, Sims genetics.

Alexa, content to leave her husband with three children, went out to the park to fulfill her desire for getting into random fights with poor NPC Sims.

Her victim today was Jocasta Bachelor, who was minding her own business before this random woman with dreadlocks and a miniskirt turned up and ruined her day.

And hey, I heard you like birthdays!

Because I now have three of them.

All on the same day.

*sobs*

First up was Clara.

Clara: Hmm, what do I wish for?

As she twirled around in a jet of sparkles, her jaw decided to stick out much further than it should do.

What the Hell is this?!

Clara: hEEEEYY!

Then it was Riley's and Alexa's turn, because they all decided to age up on the same damn day.

Makeover time!

Clara is a near-spitting image of Riley, right down to the hair and eye colour. Unfortunately, that is all I can really say about her. She's a lovely and well adjusted young woman, and I would have chosen her as heiress in a heartbeat if I could. However, she's just a bit too boring to take over the legacy. Her teenage trait is Loner. She should have no problems when I release her into the world.

Riley has fully embraced his criminal side now. His somewhat tacky suit has been replaced by a proper suit with a pop of colour in the form of a red tie. He's going to be the Emperor of Evil, so he needs to start dressing like one.

Alexa removed most of her heavy makeup, and now she just looked done with everything. She has also toned down on her clothing so she can appear a bit more "grown-up", whilst still sticking to her original vibe.

I also love how the house is this beautiful coastal cottage with pale blue and white decor, and the founders of the legacy look like this:

Dressed to impress.

Riley had to reach Martial Arts level 5 in order to gain a bonus at work, and it had been a while since Alexa had raided any tombs, so I sent them both off to China. I had the opportunity locked in for some time, but I was waiting for Clara to age up into a teenager so I could save money on hiring a babysitter.

Look how thrilled she is at being left behind to take care of her half-sisters.

China is still incredibly pretty!

Here's Alexa's and Riley's new outfits. Even now, Alexa can't get over the miniskirt look.

Riley went off to the Martial Arts Academy to train in his immaculate suit.

I soon realised that most of the tombs in China are locked behind adventures, which I don't Alexa doesn't have time for. So here's a compilation of Riley gaining his belts.

I'll end this here with this cute shot. They may be the upcoming Emperor of Evil and a tomb raider who sells priceless artifacts on the Black Market, but they are so in love that I don't care.

Chapter 1.3 - The Family Is Growing

Welcome back!

Sorry for the wait! I had a bit of a meltdown over the last week. I had to take a break to recover, so I'm sorry it's taken me a while to get back to this. Good news, though! Generation Two now consists of one teenager, one child, and one toddler.

Yes, there is a large age gap between the children.

That is what happens when one of them is already a toddler when the other two haven't even been born yet.


Speaking of not being born yet, Alexa was taking her pregnancy as well as can be expected.

She spent her whole time repairing the shower in the bathroom;

Thinking about returning to France;

And reading a lot of books.

Soon, she went into labour. Thankfully not in the bathroom.

Unlike so many of my other Sims.

And here's the second child of Generation Two (and Alexa's first). Meet Sophie Knight. Her traits are Evil and Easily Impressed, which worries me. She likes listening to Chinese music, eating cobble, and the colour seafoam. Her Starsign is Virgo.

Alexa looks thrilled to be a mother.

At least she won't have to worry about looking after Clara.

Because look who is aging up into a child!

Riley looks like he's in a state of shock.

I unfortunately missed the slender!shot, so here's Clara post-makeover. Unsurprisingly, she takes after her father and looks nothing like Alexa. Her childhood trait is Genius.

Naturally, Alexa and Riley get married in their underwear.

Romance ain't dead.

Clara's bedroom was remade from a nursery into a sweet little room that even I would be happy to live in. In fact, it is quite similar to mine!

Just a lot neater.

A new nursery was added on the end of the house to make room for Sophie and the new baby.

What new baby?

This new baby. 

Alexa: Joy.

And this, right here, is adorable.

As is this.

I love this family.

And it is about to get bigger as Sohpie has her birthday.

Alexa is happy on the inside.

Sophie is the perfect blend of genetics. She has Alexa's hair colour and Riley's eye colour, as well as his eye shape. She is a cutie and I love her. 

The same day as Sophie ages up, Alexa goes into labour with her second child.

Not sure what Riley is doing there.

Alexa emerges from the hospital a few hours later with the third and final child of Generation Two. Meet Victoria Knight, a heavy sleeper who is brave. She loves Geek music, eating spaghetti, and the colour turquoise. Her starsign is Aquarius.

Alexa: Goodie. Another one.

Sorry this took so long, and for me to write such a lacklustre chapter. I had a meltdown earlier in the week and had to take a break from everything. Hopefully things will get better soon!

Chapter 1.2 - Photobombing Toddler

Welcome back to the Knight legacy!

I am still doing a lot of overtime at work, which is why it has taken me so long to get this out! I have managed to get the legacy underway, with two children here and the third soon to arrive. It's moving along nicely!

Last time, we met our founder Alexa, who liked to raid tombs and sell everything she stole for profit. Before she left, she ordered a seaside cottage to be built on her plot of land.

She did not expect it to look like someone had just sneezed everywhere.

This mess of a house was created by me going into the costal blueprints and slamming them together.

She also did not expect that her Simslist ad for a slave to pay the rent housemate to be answered by a young man with his infant daughter.

Alexa immediately started checking him out.

Alexa: *internally* Jackpot~

Meet Riley Goldsberg. This mysterious man is overemotional, flirty, athletic, hates the outdoors, and evil. He likes electronica music, eating spaghetti, and the colour black. His starsign is Sagittarius, and he wants to become the Emperor of Evil.

Clara Goldsberg is an adorable little girl who is artistic and friendly. She likes listening to French music and eating macaroni cheese. Her favourite colour is orange and her starsign is Capricorn.

Alexa took the time to get to know her new housemate.

Alexa: So, let me get this straight. You came over from Bridgeport because you wanted to escape your past, and now you're diving back into the criminal career? All so you could get your hands on some diamonds? You do realise that they are laying around in ancient tombs, right?

Riley: Yeah, but that means poking around and getting sore. Plus I have Clara to look after.

Alexa: Oh yeah. And there're ghosts down there. I even got into a fight with one! :D

The next day, with Riley at work, Alexa was left to look after Clara.

Alexa: I think this is what he told me to give you. It looks like dog food to me...

Hell yeah!

Because of his promotion, Riley treated Alexa to a posh meal at the restaurant.

Look how snazzy they look in their formal clothes.

Clara seemed happy enough to be left at home with the babysitter as she played with her doll.

Though she looks like she is plotting something devious.

Despite not being her step-mother (yet!), Alexa was doing a fantastic job of raising Clara.

At least, she thought she was.

Alexa: This is how you do this??? I think???

Well, get as much practice as you can!

Because you've got your own on the way!

Yeah, you probably saw this coming from a mile away. Thanks to Riley's Flirty trait, it didn't take long for the two of them to get together. At all. Riley was already flirting with Alexa from Day One. It was only a matter of time before she was pregnant.

The Summer Festival was in town and Riley didn't have work until much later, so they all went into town to celebrate the warm weather.

Even though Riley hates the outdoors.

Parent of the Year Award.

In front of the fountain with the Town Hall in the background, Alexa enacted her plan.

Alexa: Look, I know we've not been together for very long, but I need someone around to help pay the bills and look after the children. What do you say?

A true wordsmith...

Riley agreed to marry this crazy woman who raided tombs in a miniskirt, and examined his new ring as Clara photobombed the shot.

Here's the newly engaged couple without the photobombing toddler.

How did they celebrate?

By breakdancing on the skating rink,

And taking part in an eating contest.

Whoever said that romance was dead?
